About Us

D&E Constructions is a family-owned and locally-operated housing and construction business located in the seaside town of Emu Park, 40km east of Rockhampton in Central Queensland (see our map). Owners Dan and Liz Leahy (pictured left) and their team including Anthony and Lee (qualified carpenters), Andrea (administration assistant), Andrew (trades assistant), school-based apprentice Dion, and a regular team of subcontract carpenters, specialise in residential, commercial and industrial projects from new homes and business premises to renovations and large extensions. Dan Leahy is a fully licenced builder and carpenter/joiner with 16 years experience in the building industry.

D&E Constructions commenced trading in 2007 and has since helped dozens of people in the community achieve their home modifications. We maintain and enjoy a strong network of suppliers on the Capricorn Coast, which enables us to keep abreast of the latest products and developments in the building industry. D&E Constructions employs only fully licenced and appropriately qualified tradespeople and subcontractors so that we can guarantee our very high standard of quality and value for money.
